Omohundro Company tools and manufactures polarizers from a composite construction with metal strips, wire or grids embedded into the laminate. These grids or wires allow a specific microwave orientation, similar to a filter, through the polarizer. This technique can also be used to prevent undesirable microwave frequencies.
